Ian Cameron Five Winds School of Tai Chi Chuan

Welcome.html

Dave started his Martial Arts life in London in 1974 practising Aikido and

met his wife, Sue, on the mat.  He gained a first dan in 19xx.  He was

awarded his second Dan in 1983 directly from Tetsuro Nariyama Shihan the

head of the Shodokan Aikido style.  Dave ran a class in Aikido for a few

years in Chessington through the Treasury's Sports and Social Club before

returning to Edinburgh.

Dave began studying Tai Chi Chuan in 1992 and more recently spent 4 years

studying in Sifu Ian Cameron's classes before retiring to Amarante in

Northern Portugal in 2009.

Dave has been running a small class in his lounge since January 2010 and

hopes to take this students through the Hand Forms, Pushing Hands, Weapon

Forms and Martial Applications in due course.

Dave has always particularly enjoyed the weapons aspects of Aikido and

particularly of Tai Chi Chuan.
